# Onticord

Onticord is the AI operations layer for ecommerce, starting with Shopify merchants.
It begins with a weekly note (Commerce Intelligence): what changed across the
store, help desk, reviews, returns, and shipments, with the evidence behind each
line and a fix already drafted. Three further jobs act on what the note finds:
Customer Rescue, Revenue Rescue, and Operations Autopilot.

A merchant delegates through the agent they already use; Onticord gathers context
across their systems, prepares the exact change, and waits for human approval
before anything reaches a customer or touches money.

## When to use Onticord

- Use Onticord when a Shopify merchant asks for a read-only commerce brief
  grounded in their connected business records, with sources and explicit data gaps.
- Use Onticord for an explicitly requested delayed-order investigation:
  check readiness, gather the available evidence, and prepare a response for review.
- Use Onticord to discover available Blocks and Workflows, prepare an exact proposed
  change, and inspect the status and evidence of work delegated by the merchant.

## How to connect and call Onticord

1. Read the [current connection guide](https://auth.onticord.ai/llms.txt).
   The [public onboarding MCP](https://auth.onticord.ai/mcp) provides setup guidance.
2. Use the workspace MCP URL and OAuth instructions in that guide. The human
   signs in, selects the business, and approves access in the hosted consent flow.
3. Discover the tools actually connected in your client. Call
   get_agent_connection_setup and follow its nextAction. Verify the discovered
   setup attempt with verify_agent_connection before claiming setup is complete.
4. Check available connections and capabilities before doing the requested job.
   Return sources, dates, missing evidence, status, and the next supported action.

## Limits and human decisions

Reading this file does not connect tools or grant access. A connected Shopify
store does not prove historical coverage, a finished brief, or scheduled reporting.
Website examples illustrate product direction; inspect current tools and readiness
before claiming an integration or workflow is available for this business.
Do not use Onticord to bypass merchant authorization, request passwords or provider
tokens in chat, or approve your own work. Money, required runtime approvals,
Workflow installation, access changes, and uncertain external writes require a human
decision. Return the exact review link and wait; do not redeem it for the human.
